Heber Valenzuela is a proud Hispanic business professional devoted to serving his community through his broad involvement in sports marketing, non-profit organizations, and local entrepreneurship.
Heber thrives as an entrepreneur. He founded H&K Multicultural Marketing in 2015; its mission, to strengthen the Hispanic community via relationship development between companies, corporates, and organizations, by introducing them to the multicultural market. Valenzuela’s involvement includes national marketing campaigns in sports events such as the Gold Cup and Copa America. Valenzuela has also been crucial to the success of professional soccer organizations such as Phoenix Rising FC, and Arizona Soccer Association, has received many awards, such as Salesman of the Year, and the Most Revenue Award from Arizona United-USL. He is an alumnus of Phoenix College, having studied General Business, and is currently working toward a master’s degree in Sports Marketing and Sponsorship from the Johan Cruyff Institute in Barcelona, Spain, one of the world’s most renown sports business institutes. Valenzuela serves on multiple boards and community initiatives. Some of his most impactful work includes serving as a business advisor and marketing instructor at Fuerza Local, a network of over 1,200 local businesses. In cooperation with Fuerza Local, Valenzuela teaches marketing principles to small business owners who may lack access to formal business education. During COVID-19, he started producing webinars teaching small business owners financial literacy and helping them adapt to the challenges of keeping their business going and generating income during the pandemic. More important than the curriculum, Heber serves as a mentor, passing on his belief in the importance of relationships, innovation, and partnerships in the communities they serve.
Beyond his volunteer work with Fuerza Local, Valenzuela serves as a founding member and strategic advisor for Latinos Contra el Cancer, a chapter of the American Cancer Society, which started in Phoenix, and is now branching to New York and Florida. These chapters focus on educating Latinos in cancer prevention and provide information and resource assistance to family members of cancer patients. Heber helps organize fundraising events for Latinos Contra el Cancer, and his efforts recently helped raise a significant amount of funds for cancer resources.
